Akwa Ibom Talent Foundation rewards blind singer, other winners in maiden talent show

A visually impaired singer, Chrisvik has received his cash prize from Akwa Ibom Talent Foundation Inc for emerging winner in the maiden edition of Akwa Ibom Talent Show. 

Christian Victor Eshiet popularly known as Chrisvik oozes passion for music, he is an indigene of Afaha Atai in Eket local government area of Akwa Ibom State who emerged the overall winner in the talent hunt held in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom state. 

Akwa Ibom Talent Show project through their events stages have reinstated their resolve to empower talents in music, dance, instrumentation, creative artistry and acrobatics. It sure was a tough job for the panel of judges made up of ex beauty queen and fashionista, Princess Hilda, pop-gospel singer, Mirobed David, thespian Ekamma Henry and Nollywood movie director, Moses Eskor (DGN). 

The sponsor, Bishop Jack operates a prophetic and deliverance ministry, extensive and Apostolic out reach, reconciling men back to God, training the church workers, building men for ministry expansion, church planting, counseling, revival, seminars, crusades in Africa and United States of America. 

1 million naira was pegged as the star prize, N500,000 for the 2nd position, while N300, 000 is for the 3rd position, all cash prizes with embellishments including a trip abroad. The journalists and influencers present on Saturday, December 2nd at the foundation’s Uyo office confirmed the transfer of the funds to the bank account of the winners, to uphold the integrity of the organisers, Akwa Ibom Talent Foundation incoporated in Nigeria and USA. 

Chrisvik is always a delight to listen to when he sings, his pleasant voice, and dexterity on the drums and keyboard are other talents that stand him out. Little wonder he came out tops in the contest. Also bestowed their star prizes were Elite Kings; the dance group which emerged 1st Runner Up, while singer, Jannie Jones followed as 2nd Runner Up, carting home 500,000 and 300,000 naira respectively. 

Christian is a student of special education center , Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, he was discovered by comedian and master of ceremony, Jimmy D Young, through his Xtra-Ability talent show for persons with disabilities. 

Bishop Jack had confessed that he is inspired by his calling to equip individuals to discover their potential, who they are and what they can do to help others in our community, walking men, women and youths through a new life. Truly, a new life beckons for Chrisvic, Elites and Jannie Jones.
