Andreno Paul Foundation Medical Outreach
Andreno Paul Foundation is a non governmental organization holding a free medical outreach in line with the Global Sustainability Development Goal to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
It is held each year in target communities etc. It provides medical test, such as Malaria parasite test, general health counseling, Blood sugar test, H.I.V, Blood pressure, Health talk and Treatments, amongst other things, to underserved members of the communities in which it is held.
Local community members, especially women and children, suffer from ill health, disease, malnutrition, and cannot afford healthcare or transport to healthcare facilities. Also, the lack of knowledge about health issues and superstition beliefs perpetuates unhealthy choices that cost lives and suffering in local communities in Cross River state, Nigeria.
These healthcare challengers are aggravated by the irregular or scarce government aid, and the precarious infrastructure located in these less privileged local communities.
Andreno Paul Foundation Medical Outreach is run in partnership with medical institutions and technical partners who provide the medical facilities and expertise.
It offers high quality healthcare and assess which is important for promoting and maintaining health, preventing and managing disease, reducing unnecessary disability and premature death, and achieving health equity for all.
Without access to healthcare, people are far more at risk. Diseases, malnutrition – all can become incredibly dangerous without proper help and support. As such, healthcare is very vital and important in sustainability and development of local communities.
The exercise will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Akim Baracks Calabar.
