Just in: CBN statement on present scarcity of dollars in Nigeria

Bureaux de Change operators in the country have begun to experience dollar scarcity as market speculators have begun to stock up their dollar reserves. Naira witnessed a further decline against the US Dollar at $1/₦404 in the parallel market, indicating a ₦24 (6.3%) loss compared to $1/₦380 recorded earlier on Thursday.
