Late Oba Oniru’s Son,Tijani Oniru Beaten By New Oba’s Security Men (Video)

There is a viral video showing Tijani Oniru, the son of the late Oba Oniru, beaten up by security.

The video which has since gone viral showed some unidentified security men preventing the supposed security men allegedly linked to the new king from beating the prince.

Oba Abdul-Wasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Abisogun II is the new king of Oniru, an indigenous town in the city of Lagos. He succeeds the 14th Oniru, Oba Idowu Oniru, who passed on in September, 2019 at the age of 82.

The new monarch, who resigned his appointment as commissioner a couple of days ago, received the staff of office barely three days after the kingmakers and elders of Iruland selected him among the lists of princes who vied for the throne.
