The date is now set for this month’s edition of The Flip Side, put together by Myriad Management, after postponing more than once due to the national elections , and we recently had a chat with the Project Coordinator who gave us a brief on what to expect.

“Myriad Management is one that builds her walls solely around impacting lives in every way possible, hence the reason for the birth of this great initiative The Flip Side, all thanks to God Almighty. It is such one that hopes to reach out to children’s homes, as well as secondary schools around the nation, Lagos and Ogun State for a start, once monthly all through 2019, and beyond. But on this particular edition, we are doing a mix of conference and training, with a professional and award winning educationist Adedeji Michael as the guest speaker talking the “Myth of Skillful” ,with the intention of putting on the table the actual basics of choosing a skill. There’s also going to be skill acquisition where we have facilitators each on; Make-up and Gele tying, Photography and Hair Barbing. For this month, we are visiting one of the well known homes in town; Ijamido Children’s Home Ota, on Saturday March 2, 2019.
The idea behind TFS however, is to help build and promote mental, physical, emotional and financial wellness amongst these teens, whom we refer to as our FUTURE, without necessarily waiting on the government to do what we actually can in even the minutest way possible, as long as we are able to actually achieve the aim of grooming and nurturing”. Although, it’s a strictly by invitation event,meant solely for the children, we are super excited about The Flip Side, and hope we are able to let you in on how it all goes down.
