Nigerian Air Force (NAF) destroys Boko Haram terrorists’ artillery gun in Sambisa (Video)

 A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) remotely piloted aircraft has destroyed an artillery gun belonging to Boko Haram Terrorists
– The weapon was discovered in Sambisa forest during a routine surveillance by a NAF Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance platform
– The Air Force continues to survey the Sambisa area and environs, as part of efforts to decimate the terrorists completely
An artillery gun belonging to Boko Haram terrorists which was discovered in the vicinity of Sambisa, was destroyed by a Nigerian Air Force remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) on Tuesday, February 6.
The development was made public by Air Vice Marshal Olatokunbo Adesanya, director of public relations and information, Nigerian Air Force.

According to NAIJ the artillery gun had been sighted during a routine surveillance around the outskirt of the Sambisa general area, by a NAF Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform.
The ISR aircraft subsequently requested for an immediate air strike; and a NAF RPA was deployed to intercept the target.
The NAF RPA then attacked the target overhead and proceeded to destroy it completely.
Adesanya further disclosed that as part of the ongoing coordinated air and land operations aimed at ridding Nigeria of the remnants of the insurgents, NAF aircrafts continue to survey the Sambisa forest and environs.
